 Patterns 

Q: How do I know your pattern will make sense if I buy it?

A: All patterns are sent to a technical editor before publication. Huge thanks to Meaghan at The Unapologetic Knitter.

Q: Can I look through your pattern before I buy it?

A: Sadly, no. However, I make a point of putting yarn, materials, gauge and other details in the description, so you know what the pattern requires before you buy it.

Q: I don't understand what you mean! I bought this pattern, but what are you talking about?

A: I'm always happy to answer questions. You can message me directly at TrebleKnit@gmail.com.

 Custom Orders 

Q: I want something specific. Can you make it?

A: Yes. I can knit and crochet just about anything. Custom orders are charged at a rate of $20/hour + cost of materials and shipping/delivery. It is cheaper to work from an established pattern than to invent a new one, although I may give you a price break if I can sell the pattern later. Contact me with your request, in as much detail as possible, and I will respond with an estimate.

Q: How long does a custom order take?

A: That depends on a lot of factors: size, complexity, needle/hook/yarn size, other commissions and projects, etc. The delivery date is always included in an estimate.

Q: I want something you used to make / only made one of. Can I still buy one?

A: Yes, but that now counts as a custom order.

Q: I bought this sweater/blanket/whatever years ago, and now it has holes/snags or I need it resized or reshaped. can you do that?

A: Probably. Send me a photo and an explanation of what you want. I'll tell you what I'll need to do it and we can decide on materials and pricing.

 Shipping 

Q: I ordered a physical item from your Etsy shop. How long will it take to arrive?

A: 3-5 business days, barring seasonal delays. Expidited shipping is available.

Q: Do you deliver?

A: Yes, within the Portland area, for a fee.

Q: This is a gift. Do you gift wrap?

A: Yes. Gift wrapping is free upon request.

 Returns 

Q: If I order something and I don't like it, can I return it?

A: There are no returns on digital files (patterns). For everything else, I allow returns withing 30 days of purchase, provided it's still in new condition. If an item is damaged during shipping, I request you send me a picture of the damaged item within 48 hours of its arrival.

 Payment 

Q: How do you take payment?

A: For patterns, that's between you and the platform you buy it on. Same goes for the Etsy store.

Q: What about custom orders and repairs?

A: Custom orders and repairs are billed through Paypal unless otherwise arranged.
