Elizabeth's Story

I first learned to knit when I was 4 years old, and I learned to crochet not long after. I grew up making gifts and clothing, always learning and experimenting.

Then, in my mid-twenties, I became ill, and it took the doctors 9 months to diagnose the issue. Between the time spent waiting for diagnosis and the time spent recovering from the eventual surgury, I spent nearly a year on the couch, unable to do much of anything...except craft.

At the end of my recovery, I realized I had a trunk full of knit and crochet items and a notebook full of pattern ideas. I loved making them. Why stop?
