Elizabeth's Story

I first learned to knit when I was 4 years old. I grew up making gifts and clothing, always learning and experimenting.

Then, in my mid-twenties, I became ill, and it took the doctors 9 months to diagnose the issue. Between the time spent waiting for diagnosis and the time spent recovering from the eventual surgery, I spent nearly a year on the couch, unable to do much of anything...except knit.

At the end of my recovery, I realized I had a trunk full of knitting and a notebook full of pattern ideas. At first, I tried selling the finished items, but I get bored making the same thing over and over. My favorite part was the design process. It still is!

Now, I'm lucky enough to share my ideas with the world. I love seeing my designs brought to life by other knitters.
